New Custom Page In-Context Text Link Program Launches

Published: April 27, 2007
Last Modified: August 1, 2008

There is a new kind of highly desirable text link that is being demanded in the SEO world...and we have developed a proprietary way of delivering it at highly affordable prices.

In case you have not heard, the latest and best way to gain backlinks is to gain them as in-context links.

Contextual Links

An in-context link is a link that appears in the middle of a normal web page on a website as part of the content of that site. It blends in naturally to the page.

Here is an example of an in-context link. If you are interested in buying in-context links, contact us for personalized assistance. As you can see, this is a normal link, but what sets it apart is that it does not reside at the bottom of the page along with a bunch of other links or in the website menu column. Instead, it is actually a part of the overall message that this web page is communicating to you.

Why In-Context?

Some people will wonder what all the excitement is about. Here is a list of advantages that in-context links have over traditional marketing links:

  1. Contextual linking is the most natural form of text linking available.
  2. You are not sharing the page's PR with a bunch of other outbound links. Many SEO experts consider the number of outbound links on a page to be critical. They believe that the more outbound links there are, the more watered-down the PR value of each of those outbound links are. The fewer the number of outbound links, the more PR that gets passed to the linked web page.
  3. Some SEO experts also believe that search engines are down-rating outbound links that appear to be little more than part of a list of outbound links, while assigning much higher scores to links that appear as part of the website's natural text.
  4. Search engines have long been talking about how they are targeting the category or subject matter of a link within the context of the page on which the link appears. Many SEO experts now agree that this must be considered a critical component of your overall backlinking strategy. In-context links that blend in smoothly with the content of the page are bound to be much more effective than other links, according to this theory.
  5. In-context links are more likely to be counted from that page than links that are not in-context, meaning that the search engine is more likely to actively count it as a legitimate backlink.

The Solution: Full Page Articles

The solution is to write an article on a topic that is related to category of the website you are linking to, include a link to your website within this article, then include this page as part of the overall structure of the link-providing website and wait for it to acquire PR value. And since the creation of such an article requires waiting a few months after its creation before it can gain PR, the link buyer is not required to pay for the link during that waiting period.

So here is what we are offering. You can write the article yourself, or we will write an article all about your site and include it in the overall structure of our website. You will pay us a fee of $50 for the creation of that page and the writing of that article.

We will charge you according to the following scale based on what page it links from:

If the page links from inside page: You pay:
PR0 $0.60 a month
PR1 $1.50 a month
PR2 $3.00 a month
PR3 $6.00 a month
PR4 $12.00 a month
PR5 $24.00 a month

If the links from home page: You pay:
Home PR0 $1.20 a month
Home PR1 $3.00 a month
Home PR2 $6.00 a month
Home PR3 $12.00 a month
Home PR4 $24.00 a month
Home PR5 $48.00 a month

If the PR value of the page you're linking from changes, we'll adjust the monthly price for that page. You can lock in your price for six months with a 10% discount or for 12 months with a 20% discount.

Benefits of our In-Context Link Program

Here are the major benefits of this new program.

  1. You can write the article(s) yourself, or we can write the articles for you at a cost of just $50 per article (including link) per website. The cost per article is a one-time only fee. We will do the research by reviewing your site, and then we will present the article to you for your approval. The article will usually be in the 200-500 word range, although this may vary depending on the topic of the website about which we are writing.
  2. We will write a separate article for each website on which you wish to purchase an in-context link. We do this because search engines frown on duplicate content. They want unique content every time. We give it to them. This will dramatically increase the value of each backlink you receive under this program.
  3. Your article will be the only article appearing on the web page.
  4. Your link in the article will be the only outbound link on that web page. This is critically important and valuable. When your link appears on a page with other outbound links, the PR value of the page is split up among those links. Thus, if there are 20 outbound links on a given page, each link only gets an average of 1/20th of the PR value of that page. But when your link is the only outbound link on that page, you will get all of the outbound PR value available for that page. We pledge that we won't place any other outbound links on your page
  5. In-context linking in one of our full page articles is essentially the same as getting a full page article in a newspaper or magazine devoted exclusively to you and your website!
  6. The page will look like and feel like the rest of the website on which it resides, containing the same design elements as the rest of the site. Thus it will blend into the site seamlessly.
  7. The page will only link back to the home page of the site and perhaps one or two other pages on the site. This is critical because pages that do not link back to the site on which they reside are considered to be orphan pages and are often dropped from the listings by search engines. It is also critical because it helps the web page blend seamlessly into the rest of the website. Because we only link back to a small handful of other pages on the same site where the article resides, the PR value of the page remains yours for your exclusive outbound link.

Some people may wonder why these links are more expensive than our original text links. It is simple really. They are not more expensive. Actually, compared to the amount of PR delivered via your link, they are less expensive.

Remember, when you take a traditional link on a page with other outbound links, all the links on that page share the available PR of that page. Thus, if there are 10 links on a page, each link gets approximately 1/10 of the overall PR value of that page. 20 outbound links on the dilutes the value even further to about 1/20 of the outbound PR value for that page.

But with our in-context link program, you get all of the outbound PR value, because your link is the only outbound link on the page. So while your nominal fee per link is higher, the overall PR value you are getting compared to a traditionally purchased link is even more dramatically higher.
